HOW TO USE HALIA
Private betaCurrently testing with a small group.
No commands. Just talk to Halia.
Halia is an AI diabetes companion that lives in WhatsApp. Tell her what you want naturally — here are a few things you can ask her to help with.
Open Halia in WhatsAppWhat can Halia help with?
Start by asking naturally — Halia will take it from there.
Logging a meal should feel like sending a message, not filling in a form.
- Send Halia a photo, voice note or message describing what you're eating.
- Halia works out the meal details and asks about anything she's unsure of.
- She keeps the meal as part of your history.
TRY SAYING
- “Chicken curry and rice for dinner”
- “Had my usual porridge”
- Send a photo of your plate
Halia can use your historical CGM data to understand your patterns over time.
- Export your data from Dexcom Clarity or LibreView — the guide walks you through it on your phone.
- Send the downloaded file to Halia in WhatsApp.
- Halia replies with how many readings she imported and the dates they cover.
Connect a supported wearable once and Halia can use that context when looking at patterns over time.
- Ask Halia to connect your wearable.
- Open the secure link she sends you.
- Approve access with Oura.
TRY SAYING
- “Connect my Oura”
Works with Oura. More wearables coming soon.
If a sensor fails, the replacement form asks for numbers printed on the box. Halia can keep them for you.
- When you start a new sensor, send Halia a photo of the box.
- She reads the serial and LOT numbers and checks them with you before saving.
- If the sensor fails, tell her — she'll send both numbers ready to paste into the replacement form.
TRY SAYING
- Send a photo of the sensor box
- “What's the LOT number on my sensor?”
- “When did I put this sensor in?”
Works with Dexcom sensors.
Connect your calendar once, then Halia can help you keep track of appointments through the conversation.
- Ask Halia to connect your Google Calendar or Outlook calendar.
- Open the secure link she sends you.
- After that, ask her about your appointments naturally.
TRY SAYING
- “Connect my Google Calendar”
- “Connect my Outlook calendar”
- “What's on my calendar this week?”
- “Add my eye screening on Tuesday at 10am”
You don't need a settings screen. Tell Halia what you want to change and she'll confirm it with you.
TRY SAYING
- “Move my lunch check-in to 1:30”
- “Move my basal reminder to 8pm”
- “Stop asking me about injections”
- “Pause my reminders for a week”
NOT SURE WHAT TO SAY?
Just ask normally.
There isn't a command list to remember.
- How have my numbers looked recently?
- Pause my reminders for a week.
- Connect my Oura.
- What's the LOT number on my sensor?
